Thank you for being here.
This course was created to help you begin noticing the messages you may have learned about your worth, your needs, your capacity, and the way your brain or body functions.
Internalized ableism can sound like:
“I should be able to do this.”
“Why can’t I just be normal?”
“I’m too much.”
“I’m not enough.”
“I need to try harder.”
These messages often do not come from nowhere. They are shaped by environments, expectations, comparison, correction, shame, and systems that did not make enough room for neurodivergent ways of being.
The goal of this class is not to force you into self-acceptance before you are ready. The goal is to help you understand where these beliefs came from and begin relating to yourself with more accuracy, compassion, and context.
Please move through the material at the pace your nervous system allows. You are encouraged to pause, revisit sections, or step away as needed.
There are reasons behind the beliefs we learn about ourselves.
