Welcome to Capitalism, Culture, and Worth
Thank you for being here.
This course explores how productivity culture, systemic expectations, gender roles, and societal pressures can shape identity, self-worth, nervous system stress, and the way we measure ourselves over time.
Throughout this training, you may begin recognizing patterns related to overworking, perfectionism, burnout, guilt, chronic self-comparison, or feeling as though your worth is tied to performance, achievement, or how much you can carry.
The goal is not to place blame on yourself, but to better understand the systems and environments many people have adapted to in order to survive, belong, or feel valued.
This is a self-paced psychoeducational course designed to support reflection, awareness, and understanding. It is not psychotherapy, crisis care, or individualized mental health treatment.
Please move through the material at the pace your nervous system allows. You are encouraged to pause, revisit sections, or step away as needed.
